Anchorage Daily News, August 30th, 2008
KOYUKUK -- A man who drifted away on the Koyukuk River was found drowned hours later
three miles from the village, according to Alaska State Troopers.
Troopers say David Dayton, 28, was found in the river at about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13,
and his body was transported to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
Alcohol was a contributing factor to his death, troopers said.
Two other people at the scene, Presley Lolnitz and Dax Lolnitz, were issued citations
for alcohol violations, troopers said.
